- Week 1 (8/26) is to introduce the class to
the basics of SPC, Chapter 1.
- Week 2
(9/2) is to discuss the management aspect of SPC, Chapter 2.

Week 3 (9/9) is to discuss variation and statistics, Appendix A.1-.5 and Chapter 3.
Week 4 (9/16) is to look at the organization of data, Chapter 4.
Test 2 material
Week 5 (9/23) is to understand probabilities, Chapter
5.
Week 6 (9/30) is to have Test 1 and understand probabilities and the
normal curve, Chapter 5.
Week 7
(10/7) is to understand the basic variable control chart and patterns,
Chapter 6 and Chapter 10.
Week 8
(10/14) understand additional control charts for variables, Chapter
7.
Test 3 material
Week 9
(10/21) is to have Test 2 and understand additional control charts
for variables, Chapter 7.
Week 10 (10/28) is to understand control charts for limited data and attribute
data, Chapter 8 and Chapter 9.
Week 11 (11/4) is to understand problem solving, Chapter 11.
Final Exam
Week 12
(11/11) is to understand problem solving, Chapter 11.
Week 13 (11/18) is to have Test 3.
Week 14 (11/25) NO CLASS.
Week 15
(12/2) is to understand gage capability, Chapter 12.
Week 16 (12/9) is to understand acceptance sampling,
Chapter 13.
Finals Week (12/16) we will have the Final.
